Physician-psychiatrist. She has been working in general psychiatry since graduating from medical school.
During my studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, I became interested in how the mentally ill live in our society. During the writing of my master's and doctoral thesis, I completed two long-term internships in a psychiatric hospital, which gave me a deeper insight into the various corners of the human soul. Subsequently, I also began teaching psychology at a university.
In my academic work, I was looking for an area where I could apply my knowledge practically. Therefore, during my doctoral studies, I underwent five years of training in Gestalt psychotherapy and began working with clients.
I provide individual therapy to adults and adolescents from the age of 15. However, I also have experience with groups. I offer support in coping with mental health difficulties or challenging life situations. I am also very close to psychosomatics, which looks for the psychological context of somatic difficulties. In my opinion, therapy should lead not only to the elimination of symptoms, but also to personal development, self-knowledge and self-acceptance.
